How Stillroom minimises retained data and handles deletion requests.
Draft retention and deletion policy
Stillroom should not retain voice recordings, video, camera data, GPS location, contact lists, call transcripts, permanent normal chat history, advertising IDs or third-party advertising data.
Limited retained records
Member verification status, consent records, limited match metadata, block records, reports and security audit logs may be retained only for defined safety, legal and abuse-prevention periods. Normal session text should be deleted when a session ends unless evidence is deliberately submitted in a report.
Deletion requests
Account deletion and data-export requests should be documented, authenticated and handled under a legally reviewed retention schedule.
Stillroom baseline
Underage use, harassment, hate speech, threats, doxxing, scams, fraud, recording without consent, sharing private information, impersonation, attempts to identify other members, illegal activity and sharing passwords or financial details are prohibited.
